2K Term 2 2009
The children in 2k have been working very hard on a unit of work about Mini Beasts. They are busy learning many interesting facts and training to become Entomologists. They have brought in some wonderful items for display and their work on display has transformed the room into a ‘home’ for spiders and insects. 
We have also been learning about writing Descriptions this term. Ants are a big feature in the classroom at present and the children will be writing a main descriptive piece about these fascinating hard working creatures.
We will then move onto some report writing.
The children are very good with their Home
Reading and we have a number of very
supportive and reliable parents who help us
out with changing Home Readers and in
many other different ways.
