Welcome to 2GW
We have had a wonderful start to the year. Term one has been spent settling in to our class, learning new routines and making friends.
Our topic to start the year is
My Amazing Body and we have been looking at:

· Health and Safety
· Rules
· Needs and Wants
· Healthy Food
· Exercise
· People Who Keep Us Healthy
This is a special year for Cooroy State School as we celebrate our centenary. We feel very much part of these celebrations in 2GW as our classroom is the original building constructed on the school site! We will be vacating our classroom for a couple of weeks either side of the centenary weekend. Our classroom will be part of a special display about our school.
Thank you to all the parents who have offered support in our class. Already we have a number of helpers who come each week to assist with changing readers, working with small groups and listening to reading. Thank you.
Thank you too to the Mums and Dads who support their child by ensuring they have plenty of sleep each night, homework routines are followed and healthy lunches provided. It makes a big difference!
